Manage suppliers and dispose cylinders

Buying, renting, or disposing of bottles? Read all about it in this article.

Manage suppliers

Each bottle is supplied by a supplier. The bottles can be rented or purchased.
This is important for your refrigerant accounting to be able to find out what happened to which bottle afterwards.
It is important that you can demonstrate the history of a bottle from purchase or rental to disposal.

Create a new supplier

  1. Select Suppliers in the menu.
  2. Click New to add a new supplier.
  3. Fill in the company and address details and click Save to complete the registration.

For each supplier, you will see an overview of the bottles you own from them.

Manage an existing supplier

You can also view a supplier in detail on the overview page by clicking on the icon with the eye.

You can change a supplier’s details via the pencil.

Finally, you can remove a supplier by clicking on the icon of the trash can. Only use this function in case of an incorrect entry, because if this supplier was already registered with purchases and/or recycling of coolants, Climapulse Service does not allow you to remove this supplier. This is to avoid empty space in your coolant accounting. To remove the supplier anyway, you must change the supplier of all coolant bottles involved to another supplier.

Filtering and exporting

On this overview page, you can search by name and address of the suppliers. If you want to change the sorting order, you can do so by clicking on ‘sort’ by name and address. This data can always be exported to Excel.

Disposing a bottle

You dispose of a bottle to the supplier. This means that you actually transfer the physical, empty or recoverable coolant bottle. The bottles remain visible in your coolant accounting under the inactive bottles. A bottle may never be removed, so that the complete history can always be retrieved. Only in case of incorrect input, you choose to delete a bottle.

  • Click on the options for the bottle and click on Discard.
  • Fill in the delivery details and press Discard to complete the registration.

Further changes to the bottle are not permitted. If you want to do this, you must first restore the bottle.

  • A disposed bottle can be found with the status filter Inactive
  • Choose the option Restore and confirm

The data relating to the disposal will be deleted.
