Climapulse cannot therefore be held liable for errors, restrictions or decisions by government services that hinder the proper functioning of the connection with the EPB-Desk. For problems that are not caused by our software, please contact Leefmilieu Brussel directly via their contact page.

All certificates for EPB heating in the Brussels Region must be drawn up digitally by a recognised professional. After drawing up the certificate, the completed data must be sent to the EPB Desk of Leefmilieu Brussel.

Climapulse has an automatic link with EPB Desk, so that the certificates can be digitally sent to the EPB Desk after drawing up. You will need a valid identification number for this. You can request this identification number from Leefmilieu Brussel.

For certificates for periodic inspection or maintenance, it may happen that you cannot generate certificates because they have not yet been sent to the EPB Desk via Climapulse. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue and have your certificates validated correctly.

Register the certificate and link the identification number

Ensure that the technician has at least one certificate that applies to the Brussels region.

You must then register the identification number in the EPB-Desk module.

Forward certificates

Your maintenance and You can find inspection certificates under Reports in the left menu. When you open this section, you will see a tab for Flanders, Brussels at the top and next to it there is a tab for forwarded certificates.

Here you will see a list of all digitally created certificates that are ready to be sent.

Open the certificates with a red error message and check whether the following information is complete:

  • Installation information
  • Certificates added by the technician
  • Validated address

Once you have checked that all data is complete, you can forward certificate by certificate to the EPB Desk.
After the certificates have been forwarded, the EPB Desk will return the validated certificate and link it to the work order. This process takes less than a minute.

Frequently asked questions

The address cannot be validated

It is essential that the address is validated before certificates can be generated. Instructions for validating the address can be found here . With these steps you can ensure that your certificates are correctly generated and validated via EPB-Desk.

Error message: “This certificate is outdated”

New elements have been added to the form according to the legal obligations set by Leefmilieu Brussel. You can easily fix this by editing the certificate back and completing the missing mandatory fields.

Technician not authorized. EPB-Desk: “LoginId does not exist”

This error message indicates a missing identification number for the technician in question. This number is required to forward certificates to EPB-Desk. Here are some things to check.

1. Has the identification number been set for this technician?

The identification number is the login ID for the EPB-Desk of Leefmilieu Brussel. This login is provided in the letter you receive after the recognition. The same login applies to all recognitions of the technician, so in principle only one number is required, regardless of the number of recognition numbers.

You can set this identification number in the LoginID field in the EPB-Desk Management Module.

2. Don't know the login?

If the login is unknown, send an email to agrementerkenning@environnement.brussels to request it. This identification number is crucial for the connection with EPB-Desk and for forwarding certificates. Only once you have the number can everything be forwarded correctly.

This professional's recognition has been withdrawn

This means that Leefmilieu Brussel has withdrawn the recognition for this professional. You can also validate this yourself by consulting the list of recognitions:
