Decommissioning
The exact way to decommission an installation depends on the type of installation.
The exact way to decommission an installation depends on the type of installation. However, the end result will always be that:
- You cannot register new activities
- Your old activities cannot be changed
- The installation properties cannot be changed
- Corresponding forecasts are deleted
- The installation is marked as Inactive
However, you can put the installation back into operation at any time via the Restore button that will have taken the place of the pencil. As long as the installation is inactive, you will not find it in the standard overview of installations, but with the status filter set to All or Inactive.
Registration method for decommissioning (cooling installation)
A device must be decommissioned, how do you register that in Climapulse?
- Start a new work order (order) in the installation you want to decommission
- Drain the refrigerant from the installation using the “drain refrigerant” action.
- You can then enter any other comments regarding the demolition actions in the generic actions form, which can be found under actions.
- Save the work order with associated orders.
- Finally, enter the date of decommissioning by clicking on the pencil icon at the installation and scrolling down until you reach the Extra tab.
- Save this and the installation now has the status “out of use”.
- You can now archive this installation or provide it with a label “out of use”.
This way, it is immediately visible in the overview of your installations that it is an installation that is no longer in use.
