Decommissioning

The exact way to decommission an installation depends on the type of installation. However, the end result will always be that:

  • You cannot register new activities
  • Your old activities cannot be changed
  • The installation properties cannot be changed
  • Corresponding forecasts are deleted
  • The installation is marked as Inactive

However, you can put the installation back into operation at any time via the Restore button that will have taken the place of the pencil. As long as the installation is inactive, you will not find it in the standard overview of installations, but with the status filter set to All or Inactive.

Registration method for decommissioning (cooling installation)

A device must be decommissioned, how do you register that in Climapulse?

If there is no coolant in the installation, go to step 5

  1. Start a new work order (task) in the system you want to decommission.
  2. If applicable, drain the refrigerant from the system using the "Drain refrigerant" action.
  3. You can then enter any other comments regarding the decommissioning operations in the "Generic Operations" form.
  4. Save the work order and its associated tasks.
  5. Finally, enter the decommissioning date by clicking the pencil icon next to the system and scrolling down to the Extras tab.

  1. Save this and the installation now has the status “out of use”.
  2. You can now archive this installation or provide it with a label “out of use”.

This way, it is immediately visible in the overview of your installations that it is an installation that is no longer in use.
